How often are veterinarians asked: How much longer will my pet live with that treatment? What are the side effects? What will it cost? There is no easy answer. But it would help both the veterinarian and pet owner – if they could refer to information about another pet that already went through (various) treatments. Even compare demographics like age and comorbidities.
