DATA BUILDING
Once the data is collected, a tumor registrar can codify the information. (This is similar to human NCDB and also the ICD 10 medical patient billing systems – to codify procedures into standardized numbers.)
In the future, if non-cancer patient information is added to CICI, this will allow CICI to generate incidence (number of new cases) and prevalence (risk of developing) statistics.
FEEDBACK APPRECIATED
The goal has been to start with a small base, and build from there. Both in size and in capabilities. Input regarding design, scope or capabilities are all welcome.
